ABOUT CLOCKWISE
ClockWise is a powerful 32-bit Windows application that will help
you get on time and stay on time.
This extremely powerful time management utility comes complete with
many useful features, including a clock, calendar, timer, stopwatch,
Internet timer, alarm/reminder system, 24-city world time zone display
with over 720 cities to choose from, and a full-featured event scheduler
so the user can run - or close - any software on the system, completely
unattended, at any time. Up to 200 events and alarms can be scheduled.
ClockWise even includes a screen saver that displays the time and date
while your computer is idle.
ClockWise allows setting the system clock to the exact time via any
Internet NTP server or to the atomic clock at NIST in Boulder,
Colorado. The main dialog constantly shows the current time with
a sharp LED-style digital clock display, as well as the current date,
this month's calendar, local times of sunrise and sunset, Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC), an additional time zone of your choice, and US
legal holidays. It even generates and maintains a detailed activity
log of everything it does.
ClockWise resides quietly in the system tray (on the Windows task
bar, near the clock) until needed. It uses very few system
resources and yet it's extremely powerful. The most prominent of its
many features is the versatile scheduling interface, allowing any
program to be run or closed completely unattended, whenever and however
often you wish. It has options to automatically set the system clock
(either over the Internet or over the phone line), to connect or
disconnect from Internet dial-up connections, and to restart or shut
down the system at any predetermined time.
It's great for scheduling periodic system back-ups, hard drive
defrags, disk scans or anti-virus scans. You can run virtually
any program completely unattended while you're asleep or out of
the office, scheduling up to 200 separate programmed events!
The handy count-down timer, stopwatch and reminder alarms are
only a mouse-click away. Everything about ClockWise is easy to
use, but there is extensive help-file documentation, as well as
context-sensitive help available.
ClockWise runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2K and XP!
